Well, I'm a little behind... but our baby is now officially a
TWO year old!!!!
And, for those of you keeping track, oh yes. That makes this house now the home of
2 .............
three .........
and FOUR year-old
B O Y S.
Mmm hmm.
We're... busy.
............and noisy. Holy crap, are we noisy.
But. With each week, I think they do get a little more independent. And capable. Helpful (sometimes)... and self-sufficient.
So that's a small blessing. :)
But back to the two-year-old. Since we already had his main birthday party earlier this summer - while all of our family was in town and we could do the whole big, combined-little-boy-birthday-blow-out thing - on Graham's actual birthday day, we just kept it simple.
I took the boys to the park that morning. We had a picnic. And after dinner, we sang Happy Birthday and ate cupcakes.
It was simple. But it was a nice day.
And I think he felt special♥
The Birthday Boy♥

My "cheesy" boys at the park
Firefighter Holden!
Practicing his pole-slidin' skills
Curly Slide!

It is HIGH up there!
Weeeeeeee!!
Here he comes!
Stinker.♥

Practicing his skills on the rings!
Time for lunch!
LOOK at these faces!!!
I think I was just trying to be funny to get them to smile!
I mean... they're not even in school yet and I feel as if they're already like, "Uh... Mom? No."
*sigh*
I'm in trouble, guys.
On to the swings now
Some things I know.
I know this sounds corny. And I know it sounds cliche. And logically, I know the realistic answer...
But sometimes, I feel like I truly just don't really know how he can already have been here with us, in our family, for two whole years.
It really feels like just the other day when I went for a walk with my Mom one morning... and was having contractions off and on... and that night he was here!
I just don't know how sometimes it seems like time goes so fast....
Suuuuuper BRIDGERRRRRR!!! ;)
My first baby ♥
Yup. I made them.
And time for a Happy Birthday song...
and a cupcake!
Look at that sweet face.
Cupcake.
He. was. ready.
Oh yea.
The big boys liked them, too, I think ;)
Finger-lickin' good :)
Happy Birthday, Sweet Graham♥
