Sound Bites...

Some more conversational "gems" from the mouths of my babes :)



As I was getting ready to run errands one Saturday morning--
Me: Ok! I'm leaving!
Holden: See ya later, Alligator. After awhile, Crocodile.
Me: Be back in a flash!
Holden: Wait, does flash mean quick?
Me: Yea..
Holden: Cuz I don't think you've ever been back--
Me: --Ooook. Yea. Whatever. See you soon. Love you. (Smart Alec)


While watching an episode of the cartoon Daniel Tiger (the one when he gets a new baby sister) --
Bridger: I wish we had a baby... that was a girl...I wish we had a house full of babies. And they were all over the floor. And we were watching them. And we could play with them.
 Me: Uh...




In the car on the way home from the store. We had been talking about how old you have to be to be a grown up and then--
Bridger: Mommy, I wish I could be 18.
Me: Why?
Bridger: So I could grow up.. and play baseball.. And you guys could watch me on the tv.
Holden: Football, Bridger! You want to play football!
Bridger: Oh yea. Football.




While watching an old school Britney Spears video one day while I was working out--
Bridger: I like her.
Graham: I like her too... I wish I could go in the tv and meet her.
Bridger: Me, too. I wish she was babysitting me.
