... GHOSTBUSTERS!
Yep! This year's Trick-or-Treating theme (because you knew there was gonna be one)
was The Ghostbusters!
Holden was our "Venkman"
Complete with name tag and his official Ghostbusters patch
Under all that green we had Bridger as our very agreeable "Slimer"
And Graham was our adorable - and wildly popular - "Stay Puft Marshmallow Man"
Obligatory photo with MOM ... because I made the costumes and I deserve my photo :) haha
And one with Daddy, too. (Big thank you for all his help with the Proton Pack!)
It was sunny. :)
And then we also got to spend the afternoon with the cutest little tough guy Construction Worker you ever did see....
Bryce!
Showing us his muscles!
And then we loaded up and it was off for some Trunk - or - Treat shenanigans!
Loadin' up on goodies
Lookin' good, Marshmallow Man!
The Construction Worker even found himself a piece of equipment to try out!
Although I think he may have been more interested in the candy :)
So many fun themed cars to see!
My guys
Silly Mimi
Last stop! With real live horses!
The aftermath.
Bushed and all stocked up on candy!
And then on actual Halloween, we decided to pass on a second round of Trick-or-Treat... and instead had a fun little Halloween Party Day of our own!
BOO!
Halloween Kitty. Hehe ♥
Let the silly fun begin!
Aaaaargggh!!!
Hahahahaaa
And Brycie came to play with us, too!
We had a very noisy, blurry game of Pop the Ghosts!
I think they had fun with that one :)
Had a little lunch
I think Graham liked the Halloween Punch ;)
Holden... aka Toothless
And Happy Bridger
Then we got to work on guttin' and carving some jack-o-lanterns!
This kid loved the gutting part!
This big kid... not so much. Ha.
"I don't like this. I don't even like the smell of pumpkins."- Tyler
Wimp.
So my assistance was obviously needed. ;)
Getting some guidance on his face-making skills....
... and some "help."
And then we went bowling for ghosts with a little pumpkin!
Setting them up.....
... and knocking them down!!
(being cheered on by the crazy gangster Amish man)
Bryce's turn...
Celebration Dance!
I think it was a pretty fun little game :)
And then it was time to bob for some apples!
Go Toothless, go!
Awww! Better luck next time!
(Graham's face. lol.)
Go Bryce!
... and he GOT ONE!!
Yay!!!
Get on in there, Bridger! Ha!
Success!!
One more turn for the boy who had no front teeth....
And he got one!! (Think maybe even he was surprised. Ha)
And after valiant - yet empty-handed - attempts.. we finally just let Graham pick his own apple out.
A serious face full of water just didn't seem to be on his to-do list that day.
Slippery little apples.. :)
And after Bryce had to leave we played one more game ....
... made a little Halloween sticker picture, and had some very silly looking pizza while we watched a Halloween movie.
And I got a very sweet thank you note from Holden....♥
And then it was lights out!
I hope you all had fun making memories this year, too!
Happy Halloween!!
♥ ♥ ♥
