Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy!: Eggs, Easter, and Eats!

We colored eggs this past Friday - for real, everything with these kids is always an adventure...

And then yesterday we started the day off with a little egg hunt around our house - yay for eggs full of jelly beans! - and then a small scavenger hunt for each boy to find his "big present" :) They each got a new Imaginext guy set. They LOVE that stuff.

Tried for a photo the boys lookin' all handsome in their new Easter shirts - nothing tricky, guys, just ALL THREE LOOKING AT ME - and failed.

Easter eggs for breakfast, and it was off to church and nursery duty... which went AMAZINGLY well. Things were definitely hoppin' in there, but no tears! Always a good day.

Then it was a wonderfully delicious lunch at the Himes' - attempt #2 at a simple photo of them just looking AT me... failed again - back home for a quick nap, and then off to dinner at my mom's and more wonderful food. (except not the cake. WOAH fail on my part. I blame lemon.) But the boys got to go for another little egg hunt around Mimi's house and got even more goodies in the baskets she did for them.

And even the sun finally decided to come out... just in time to set for the evening.

All in all, a pretty good day.♥
