Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy!: Momma's Merry Monsters

Well, I suppose I should tell you all about my new hobby/business venture! (and part of what has been keeping me so busy and away from blogging....)

Meet, my Merry Monsters :)

They are all made by me, largely by hand, and entirely from items I have recycled, thrifted, or been given. Each one is unique. And they also each come with a tag telling their new owner their name and one little thing I feel is fitting to their personality - a favorite something that they love :)

The idea was born this past holiday season. I made each of our nieces and nephews one for Christmas - to add to their gift - and they were just all so well received! And then I kept getting so much continued encouragement and support from family and friends...

So in February, I did it. I opened up an Etsy shop: MerryMonsters

... and I took the leap!

And it has just been going so so well. I am very fortunate to belong to an online Mom group, and so many of my amazing friends have placed orders and supported me. My little Monsters are all across the country!

And now it's even starting to branch out further to friends-of-friends and co-workers.

I am just feeling extremely blessed and flattered over all the wonderful things people are saying, and all the incredible orders that keep coming in!

So, I won't post all the past Monsters here - because you can see lots of them on my sites - but I'll just share a few more "group" shots with ya quick :)
